Future Plans: Building in Phases
We didn’t get into this financial mess overnight, and we won’t get out of it overnight either. There’s no quick fix, no silver bullet. Real solutions are built step by step — phase by phase. New Foundations Farm is Phase One, and here’s where it leads.
The Phases Ahead
Phase 1: Start With Food
Our first step is raising $25,000 to build a 30x100-foot greenhouse. This greenhouse can produce around 50,000 pounds of food per year. Every dollar it generates will go right back into building more greenhouses. That’s how we start multiplying food production, expanding quickly, and lowering food costs for everyone.
Phase 2: Lower Grocery Costs
As production grows, families in our community will be able to buy fresh produce at even lower prices — pennies on the dollar compared to today’s prices. The goal is simple: healthy food that’s actually affordable.
Phase 3: Expand Into Energy
Once the farms reach scale, profits will fund renewable energy projects that reduce electricity bills for households in our community. Just like with food, the model is designed to reinvest, expand, and push costs down. Each phase of this model is designed to reduce financial burdens for every person in the community.
Phase 4: Tackle Bigger Essentials
The vision doesn’t stop with food and power. Over time, we’ll expand into water systems, housing, and other essentials that make up the bulk of monthly expenses. Each phase builds on the last, with one goal in mind: making life easier instead of harder.
