About Our Nonprofit

The New Foundation for Thriving Communities is the registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization behind New Foundation Farms. We are an Illinois nonprofit corporation and federally recognized public charity, which means every donation made to support this project is tax-deductible as allowed by law.

New Foundation Farms is our community greenhouse initiative focused on bringing fresh, healthy, affordable food back to Southern Illinois. Donations directly support the construction of our 30 by 100 foot hydroponic greenhouse, the growing systems inside it, and the tools and materials needed to begin year-round food production.
