FAQ

1. Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. The New Foundation for Thriving Communities is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. All cash and in-kind donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. We provide written receipts for all contributions.

2. Where does the money go?
Every dollar raised goes directly into building and expanding New Foundation Farms. We don’t pay salaries — all funds are reinvested into projects that lower costs for families in our community.

3. Can I donate materials instead of cash?
Yes! We accept in-kind donations of materials and equipment. You’ll receive a written receipt describing your donation.

4. Can I volunteer if I don’t have farming experience?
Absolutely. There are many ways to help, from greenhouse construction to media and marketing support, fundraising, sales, and general volunteer tasks.

5. How big will the first greenhouse be?
The first greenhouse will be 30×100 feet, with the capacity to produce about 50,000 pounds of food per year.

6. Where will the farm be located?
Our first greenhouse will be located at ADDRESS. We are currently seeking a larger plot of land (20+ acres) to build the larger part of our project on.

Once the first greenhouse is built and operational, we’ll begin producing leafy greens for sale. Updates on timelines will be posted on our site and social media.
